Viciousness of A Tiger

March 21, 2014 ASAA

Title of Art Piece: Viciousness of A Tiger
Category: Drawing – 2014
Student/Artist’s Name: Mariah Jackson
School: Eagle River High School
Grade: 12th
Artist Statement: I chose to draw a tiger because all my life I’ve been in love with animals, tigers being my favorite. I wanted to use oil pastels with this piece because I love the way the colors blend and how vibrant the image turns out in the end. Since tigers are endangered animal, I decided to make it look vicious and angry in order to protect itself from extinction.
