Artist Statement: I wanted to express the silliness and the ironic “stealth” of my dog, Rosie, who is notorious for stealing food off of counters and tables. She really leaves a humorous impression everywhere she goes, and I wanted to demonstrate that with the use of bright colors, markers, paint, and the cute cartoonish style of her charcoal edges.
