Artist Statement: This piece was used to represent the physical analogy of walking away from someone in life, but it presenting new and exciting opportunities, not being an end-all be-all situation. By taking separate "hiking paths", each skeleton will see new sights, meet new people along the way, and experience new memories, all while holding a deeper emotional connection with the other. This inquiry was used as a smaller representation for the overall idea of love striving in hardship, but blossoming and growing nevertheless.
