Artist Statement: This piece was done on a Queen of Hearts playing card. I was inspired by the Victorian era and wanted to utilize my Queen of Hearts card, so what better thing to do than make a royal amphibian? I utilized different kinds of clothing from the era while still making it look like a one-of-a-kind piece with the color scheme and fabric patterns.
