Artist Statement: I created this comic to normalize homosexual relationships within the media. These types of relationships should not be taboo or kept quiet. Love should be shared around the world to progress our society forward. Portraying a holiday, predominently associated with straight couples, with a couple not of the status qou confronts the viewer with a new societal norm.
