Oil Pastel

Artist Statement: While making this I had no idea it would turn out the way it has, but my work tends to turn out green. It’s not that I don't enjoy the color, but they aren't the mountains I was imagining while making the project. They are still mountains, and that's enough. All the people I know have let the mountains fade into the background of their daily lives, and I must have too while making this. I hope as I continue to create mountains they will become more like the mountains I see.
