Oceans Escape Artist

This ceramic embodies an Raku fired octopus. The copper based glaze and the oxidizing fire used to finish this piece brought out the many colors in this octopus. I sculpted this piece as a part of my families fishing background and to remember the great sea city of Anchorage with its emense and beautiful sea life.
