Motivation of an Insomniac

In my AP art class, one of my first assignments was to make an art piece based on an article that was about the mental health effects on teens caused by the overuse and addiction to social media. In the piece, there is a boy laying down on his phone drawn in graphite, behind him is a background based on ‘ The starry night ‘ in acrylic paint. The idea behind this was, he’s missing out on the good things in life because of the depression, and insomnia caused by social media.
