Moonglow

Artist Statement: This piece, titled “Moonglow,” depicts a small boat sitting on the waves under the light of a nearby lighthouse. I utilized different areas having positive and negative space with the light and dark, and achieved the yellow glow using the chine-collé technique. This piece was inspired by my desire to create contrast between light and dark areas of the piece.
