Artist Statement: My piece is titled May I? As in, May I have this dance. The piece is made from clay as well as colored slip and glaze to add colors and details. The purpose of my work is to be used as decoration and explore the theme of love in a new form. I was influenced by my other art work as well as my best friend, Adri, who gave me the idea to dress them.
