Lost My Marble

Artist Statement: I think perfection is important but also overrated. I say this because something can look perfect to one person, but look completely imperfect to another. This is because every single person has different views. I believe the arts of jewelry allows me to express myself in a different way. It also gives me satisfaction with my finished pieces, and empowerment since I never knew I could make art like this. This piece shows my ability to problem solve, there were different challenges that I needed to be figured out. Lastly, originality because every piece I make is original to me. Even though I get some of my ideas from sources, I make every piece personal to me in some way or another.
