Lilies at Midnight

Artist Statement: In many cultures, dragonflies are a symbol of death. Death is loss, but there is also beauty behind it. Lilies are used at funerals to help appease emotions. In this piece, they are also a symbol of beauty to show that the dragonfly can represent death, but the lilies can bring back beauty and a calm state of mind.
