Kitty Door

Artist Statement: This is a fire door that leads to a secret room in my closet, I took it off one day and started painting on it. It took an entire summer of layering acrylics, then making sure the lines were precise and mixing the right colors. The piece is called “Kitty Door” and it is a part of my AP portfolio, where I am making a world for my future graphic novel. The species are called Suvats, their markings glow in the dark!
