Artist Statement: My art depicts a Hawaiian duck on the water. I made the art from watercolor. I used a lot of blending, My goal was to make it realistic and to make it so the duck was identifiable as a Hawaiian duck. Originally, my piece was going to be the duck on land instead of water, but my final piece ended up being in water.
