Gravity’s Edge

Artist Statement: My painting captures the dynamic energy and daring spirit of Jesper Tjäder as he carves through the snow, embodying the artistry of movement. Using bold, saturated colors and impasto techniques, I aimed to create a textured, vivid scene that conveys the exhilaration and uncertainty of the slopes. I was intrigued by the unique perspective of the piece, as it allowed me to explore depth and motion, drawing the viewer into the skier’s world.
