Golden Silence

Artist Statement: This image originated from a photo of simple leaves lying on the ground; through some editing, I managed to achieve these distinct colors. It is the photograph that led me to discover that one of my favorite things to capture is simple, small details. I really love how you can appreciate all the various leaf colors present—as well as the intricate details of each one—along with the interplay of light and shadow.
