Artist Statement: I made “fsh” incomplete on purpose because he's trying to fix the fact that he's not by trying to distract from his problems with bright colors and the flowers' beauty. It's perception is distorted, seen by the different shapes and sizes of the pupils as they look out at everyone around it, representing the envy it holds for others who seem normal and complete. A few eyes are hidden, especially the only normal one it has which is also incomplete hidden under a cluster of flowers in the front due to it being blind to the fact that its in reality slowly dying. Fun fact fish can't breath under water, so it has a ventilation mask. But it has other purposes to like such as how the human teeth on it is it's false happiness…because under that mask it's sad and unhappy with itself. But it turns a blind eye to it always and it also shows how it's suffocating from the constant criticism and judgment that can also be seen in the eyeball design on the start of the fins. The tattered aspect is to further give into it tearing itself apart but the tattered fins along with the chain that's stuck in his side slowly wrapping around more and more restraining him with his desire for normalcy that he will never have given the fact that he'll never get far in life this way because of how blind it is to see what he's doing himself. But by the time he does, decay will have already set in…and it will be too late!
