Title of Art Piece: Eagle Migration
Category: Drawing – 2025
Student/Artist’s Name: Syrianna Winkel
School: Galena Interior Learning Academy
Grade: 12th
Artist Statement: My drawing shows two bald eagles flying over the village of Eagle, Alaska. Eagle Bluff is in the background right by the Yukon River. The art materials I used for this drawing were gaphite and colored pencils. I was inspired by Eagle, my hometown and the place where my family lives. I was also inspired by eagles; they are one of my favorite birds of prey. Through the process of creating this piece, I learned that drawing eagles and montains is challenging. I am happy with my drawing of Eagle Bluff because it looks just like it does in person.
Artwork Dimensions: 12 inches high by 18 inches wide
