Do No Evil

Artist Statement: I wanted to create something that showed how I feel sometimes. I had the idea for the painting when I first heard about the competition, and I started making sketches to experiment with different flowers and brush strokes. I chose to paint poisonous flowers because no matter what you do, there’s always going to be something bad inside of you. I loved making this painting, and I never thought the final product would look this good.
