DINOSAURS!

With this piece, I wanted to capture the essence of being a kid. When everything was beyond vibrant, and when nothing had to be a certain way. When it was alright to color outside of the lines and messes were seen as par for the course. My best friend from kindergarten and I used to play a version of tag where we pretended to be dinosaurs; we always just made up the rules as we went, but it was always our first choice of game to play. I wanted this piece to capture the spirit of that game, the spirit of the time when the most important thing in the world was dinosaurs.
