Artist Statement: This photo is a piece for my concentration portfolio. My concentration is ballet. I chose to photograph dancers preparing for class. This picture is a common sight around my dance studio. Girls putting their hair into ballet buns right before a class. I wanted my image to focus on the girl and her action with the reflection of her bun and the other dancers in the background.
