Charlotte’s Dollhouse

Artist Statement: I created a dollhouse because I have always been inspired by the details and timelessness of antique things and I wanted to translate that into clay. I used the colors and patterns that I did because I wanted it to feel girly while at the same time very beautiful. The tree on the wall of the third floor is inspired by the tree mural that my mom painted in me and my sister’s childhood bedroom.
