Berry Delicious

Artist Statement: I created a functional berry basket and strainer set inspired by the natural environment and traditions of Alaska. Berry picking is an important activity in many Alaskan communities, connecting people to the land, the seasons, and the cultural practices that been passed down through generations. I wanted my work to reflect both the beauty and the usefulness of that experience.
