Artist Statement: The desert does not have a statement. When you’re in the desert, or any secluded place for that matter, you don’t see words. You don’t need them. You see what is there, you feel what is there, it is what it is. The desert may speak to you, but it is in silence. And this woman may speak to you, but it is also in silence.
