Alaska’s Sea Life

Artist Statement: I made this painting to raise awareness of Alaska’s sea life. The contrast between the red octopus and blue background catches attention. The tentacles fill the free space. Usually when people think of sea animals, they often think of an octopus. I also included a puffin and fish. I wanted to paint the light underwater. I like this painting because it is colorful. I want people to appreciate Alaskan animals!
