A Look Inside

Artist Statement: This piece was made for an assignment where we were supposed to draw what we saw in a picture. I chose a picture of half a rib cage, it was originally just drawn on black paper with a white pencil. I decided something was missing from it so added the blue shadows, and even though it’s subtle I believe it makes all the difference.
