Dreams Spring Garden

Artist Statement: I was drawn to the deep blue color of the cyanotype print. A cyanotype is a type of photographic process that uses UV light to create white images on a bright blue background.
Inspired by the work of Anna Atkins, I asked a local florist for their end-of-day flower cuttings. I collected the scraps, pressed them, and then used them to create this series of cyanotypes.
