Copper Cascade

Artist Statement: I have been enamored with raw, textured metals that embrace the inherent beauty of the material since I began making jewelry my freshmen year. These earrings embody all of my favorite aspects of jewelry, embracing a natural yet sleek look. The texturing seen on the copper is the result of repeated hammering that transforms from a time consuming, unpleasant process to intricate yet chaotic finish.
