Shattered Self

Artist Statement: This piece is based on the lyrics “Once I was 7 years old”. The first part of the piece is the younger self in a shattered frame to show how that past version of me has changed. The second image is my current self in a fixed frame. The final part of the piece is to show the changes and how the pieces parallel each other. The items surrounding the frames in parts one and two show the shift in interest and growth over the 10 years.
