Smoke City

Artist Statement: This piece is a part of my art portfolio that portrays human effects on the planet and is supposed to highlight the true consequences of climate change and the degradation of the natural environment due to human activity. The piece depicts the sprawling landscape and industry that infests the planet. The painting is done in all dull and desaturated colors to show the that beauty of the land and natural world is stripped away by these massive industrial yards and the consequences of human industry. It brings light to the dark truth of industry and the air pollution and land corruption it causes.
