Artist Statement: The inspiration behind my piece came from where I was born, Hawaii. SPAM is a very popular food among the locals. On my trip back to Hawaii, I could not wait to eat SPAM Musubi, one of my favorite meals. My ceramic piece will forever enshrine my love for this delicacy.
