Reflection

Artist Statement: This piece I wanted to create a visual of a reflection with myself. The meaning behind this piece is reflecting on a past or future version of myself and how our minds and lives can flip upside down positively or sometimes negatively. It represents growth and the non -inear learning process of our lives and the constant change we as people endure. This is by far my biggest piece of artwork I’ve ever done. It means a lot to me, and I put so much time and effort into it. The process was a really wonderful experience and taught me a lot. This art piece helped me improve my skills as an artist and showed me that I can do difficult things and challenge myself beyond what I know. In the end, we are always ourselves, but a different perspective of ourselves can change a lot.
