Manatee Bones Breakout

Artist Statement: This piece was done for an art project that was inspired around Paul Jackson and his bones break out illustrations. The task was to illustrate four layers of an animals, of our choosing, anatomy. The layers compiled of; Skin/fur, bone, muscles, and organs.
I chose to do a manatee because I’d been interested in drawing more of them due to them being my favorite animal. This piece ended up being done around 2 months after the initial due date because of how much detail I ended up doing with pen in the finish product.
