I love fishing. Matter of fact I spend about ⅓ of my summer vacation with a rod in my hand. Since I am out in the water so much, I have noticed a reoccurring problem. It is not the little kids chucking rocks into the river, but adults ripping their lines through the water. Snagging can leave a fish disfigured and can affect their way of life. In my project, I wanted to capture the effects of snagging. Particularly on sockeye salmon. I chose to use high gloss spray paint to make my fish look alive. I also used a common object that many people get their hooks caught on, or in this case a piece of wood to support my fish.
