April 6, 2018 ASAA

Title of Art Piece: ?¿?¿
Category: Printmaking – 2018
Student/Artist’s Name: Krysta Walsh
School: Palmer High School
Grade: 11th
Artist Statement:

The intent of my prints was to create a huge message physically while keeping it unknown. This way, the viewer has to stop and think about what’s being presented. Hopefully they are confused and ask themselves, “What is the Big Message?.” My hope is to provoke the viewers’ thoughts and emotions with confusion, curiosity, and frustration. I refuse to define this “Big Message “ considering, everyone has their own.

Artwork Dimensions: 7’4" high x 4’2” wide
